Born in Australia of Greek heritage, Athena has made her life and career base – Paris, France.
Working as an architect and project manager for some of the most renown luxury fashion houses in the world, she has accumulated over 30 years’ experience in high-end commercial and hospitality design. Selecting and managing creative teams internationally, she has been able to coordinate master designers with builders and craftsmen to produce award winning projects such as the 2016 Chicago Athenaeum International Award for the Seoul – House of Dior , by Christian de Portzamparc & Peter Marino, 2017 Prix Versailles North America, Retail Winner – Dior Building, Miami Design Centre – Barbarito Bancel Architects, 2018 Prix Versailles North & Central Asia Commercial – Ginza SIX Tokyo Dior Boutique – Building & Facades by Yoshi Taniguchi.
Her fine eye for detail and insistence of the perfect execution of a project has led to her notoriety. Passionate about building, interiors and furniture design, Athena believes that good design is a simple expression of its time, its location and its purpose. She has decerning eye to decipher outstanding design, through a solid historical background and experience.
Athena has now founded her design practice and consults on international building design competitions, as for the Hellinikon Development Project in Athens.
