The International Design Awards 2021 and 2022 winners gala took place on April 19, 2023 at the Sofitel Foshan Guangdong Province China.
The IDA sincerely thanks Chinese partners APDC and HBI who organised the spectacular event where IDA winners were presented with their certificates and trophies by leading design industry celebrities.
PHOTOGRAPHY EXHIBITION OF IDA WINNERS AT HOUSE OF LUCIE BUDAPEST
The House of Lucie in Budapest hosted an opening event for the exhibition of a curated selection of photographs of extraordinary winning submissions from the International Design Awards (IDA) on August 17. Specially invited attendees gathered in support of the talented international award winners. The exhibition is open to the public from 12:00-18:00 on Tuesdays and Fridays until the 9th of September.

2020 IDA WINNERS ONLINE GALA – MARCH 10TH, 2021
The International Design Awards 2020 Chinese winners gala took place live online on March 10th 2021 due to the travel restrictions imposed by the Covid pandemic. The online gala was presented by Jill Grinda, VP Marketing and Business Development IDA and television personality Norman Busigu at the YANGA! TV studios in London. The online event included images of the winning Awards with interviews with the IDA 2020 Designers of the Year, and the Emerging Designers of the Year. You can watch the online gala here:
2019 & 2020 INTERNATIONAL DESIGN AWARDS – CEREMONY SEPTEMBER 06 – GUANGHZOU OPERA HOUSE
The International Design Awards 2019 and 2020 Chinese winners gala took place on September 6th 2021 at the iconic Guanghzou Opera House which was designed by Zaha Hadid. The IDA thanks Chinese partners APDC and HBI who organised the spectacular event where Chinese IDA winners were presented with their certificates and trophies by leading design industry celebrities.
11TH & 12TH INTERNATIONAL DESIGN AWARDS – CEREMONY APRIL 25 – LOS ANGELES
The Official Winner’s Award Ceremony and Cocktail Reception of the 11th & 12th International Design Awards took place at the prestigious “Pacific Design Center” in Los Angeles on Thursday 25th of April, 2019.
Over 300 IDA winners joined the evening, receiving their winning certificates while IDA “Design of the Year” Winner’s works have been projected on stage. Attendees had the opportunity to meet IDA Winners, members of the Jury, ceremony presenter, industry leaders, press representatives and members of the International Design Awards organizing team.

THE 9TH AND 10TH INTERNATIONAL DESIGN AWARDS WINNERS COCKTAIL EVENT
In 2017 a cocktail event took place on June 10th, at A+D Architecture & Design Museum, Los Angeles which celebrated the winners of the 9th and 10th IDA Awards. The soiree brought together established industry professionals, emerging designers, enthusiasts and members of the media in an inspiring multi-disciplinary arena conducive to collaboration between innovators.
THE 7TH AND 8TH INTERNATIONAL DESIGN AWARDS WINNERS GALA
The 2015 event was hosted on the 4th of May by Crystal Begley and celebrated the winners of the 7th and 8th Design Awards at Harmony Gold Theater, on Sunset Boulevard, Los Angeles.

The International Design Awards celebrated its 2007 winners on Sunday, March 9 at the opening of the Museum of Design Art and Architecture exhibit of winners’ work, bringing in furniture designer Ezequiel Farca, Mexico City; textile designer Lily Latifi, Paris; architect Zoltan Pali, FAIA, Culver City; furniture designer Manuel Saez, New York; fashion designer Jasmin Shokrian, Los Angeles; and Alexander McQueen protegee Mintee for an elegant evening heralding great design and Maker’s Mark cocktails, also sponsored by FIJI water, Hennessey and Ingalls bookstore and Apothiacandles.
