In addition to the IDA Winners Gala on February 8, we are planning to host a Design Industry networking party on the evening of Friday, February 6, and IDA winners are invited to visit the main Bangkok Design Week venue on Saturday, February 7th. An International Celebration of Design

More than an awards ceremony, the IDA Gala is a global gathering of creative leaders. Designers, architects, studios, and industry partners from around the world come together for an evening of recognition, inspiration, and meaningful connection.

Taking place during Bangkok Design Week, the Gala coincides with one of Asia’s most vibrant creative moments, offering guests a rare opportunity to engage with the global design community while experiencing the energy of Bangkok’s design scene.

Honoring Excellence on the Global Stage

Throughout the evening, Gold, Silver, and Bronze winners will be recognized on stage and presented with a commemorative International Design Awards trophy—celebrating exceptional achievement, originality, and design excellence across disciplines.

This formal ceremony honors the work and vision of designers whose contributions continue to elevate and influence the global design landscape.

Arrival & Transport:

Suvarnabhumi Airport (BKK): Airport Rail Link, taxis, and ride-hailing apps. Budget option: Airport Rail Link + BTS Skytrain.
Don Mueang Airport (DMK): Mainly domestic flights; taxis and ride-hailing apps available.
To ICONSIAM: Taxi or Grab, 20–30 minutes from central Bangkok. Budget option: BTS to Krung Thon Buri, then change to the BTS Gold Line to Charoen Nakhon station, which provides direct access to the ICONSIAM entrance.
