Entry Description

Inspired by Neil Gaiman's "American Gods", artist Chuang try to adopt the images of Buddhism Gods and transform them into a new image of this technology era. These ancient Gods have been given new meaning for today's social media network.There are three characters in this series:
01. Antenna King Kong: Guardian of Buddhism who represents "Broadcasting".
02. Neon Guayin: Goddess of Buddhism who represents "Advertising".
03. Moon Lander Buddha: Lord God of Buddhism who represents "Social Media".

Bio

Che-Kuang Chuang(莊澤光) is a Taiwan-based designer. His works contain a wide range of architecture design, sculpture, illustration and concept design. Che-Kuang Chuang has strong interests in form manipulation and now he has finished his master degree in University of Applied Applied Arts Vienna(die Angewandte, Austria, Graduated with distinction) and staeted his own career.
