Entry Description

In some of the poor areas of Iran, many less privileged children are deprived of having basic school furniture. The cost of manufacturing is considered to be too high to produce and assemble enough desks and benches for all schools of the country and some children have to simply sit on the ground in their classrooms.
“Bagasse” is the by-product of the cane sugar industry and in the province of Khuzestan in Iran, thousands of tons of surplus of Bagasse is burnt that creates environmental pollution. Given the right process, Bagasse can be used as a raw material for the production of chipboard.
