Character Cafe & Gallery

Character Cafe & Gallery is a two-storey old building which is located in Alborz province, with the area of 530 square meters including two courtyards, cafe in ground floor and gallery in first floor.Front yard's seats are designed with greenery and relaxing sound of water to cover street noise.We tried to create the least amount of damage to the previous building by creating a new definition for the arch-shaped openings.we redefined Sabat as an historical element to experience the presence of Iranian historical cities as well as emphasis on access and find spaces easily by following colours.

Ojan Salimi is a young Iranian Designer and Architect who was born in 1993.
He received his M.Arch from Soore University in 2018.
He established the design office "OJAN Design Studio" in 2018. His wide range of works includes product design, interior design, architecture, graphic design and corporate branding. The firm today consists of a group of committed architects, designers and engineers.
Design, art, innovation, experimentation and viewing the surrounding world through new perspectives, have always been ojan's main interests throughout his career.
