Entry Description

The shape of the theater building is inspired by the story of Pan Gu creating heaven and earth. The curved space inside the theater is like the universe in a chaotic state, while the two opposite shell-shaped roofs of the stands and stage area from the architectural appearance are like two overlapping wings of a sleeping giant bird which is about to soar. The shape of the roof fish scale panels integrates the elements of the local traditional buildings, the roof arrangement of the traditional village layer upon layer echoing with the nearby Hekou Ancient Town.
