Entry Description

Webster Avenue is a residential community in the Bronx developed by Breaking Ground for low-income families and formerly homeless individuals. Its two buildings, Park House and Webster Residence, are designed to provide healthy, sustainable housing. Incorporating high-performance building systems and biophilic design, the homes meld social and environmental sustainability and create a safe space from which to build positive change. The design prioritizes access to nature and daylight, with a large planted courtyard, an accessible green roof, and small public green spaces at the street.
