Casa Cook Κοs is a new 5 star resort on Kos, Greece. The architectural design attempts to redefine the meaning of tourism accommodation and to promote it into an experience, by deconstructing the stereotype of the hotel. We seeked for the authenticity of traditional greek architecture: modesty, plain cubic forms, simple function and arrangement, traditional techniques and local materials. The result is the experience of a greek settlement, of living in a friend’s home. The approach is holistic in terms of master plan, architectural and interior design, facilities, service and leisure.
