Entry Description

Argonaut, an innovative advertising agency, was in sea
search of a new home to support their rapid growth. With
creativity as its driving force, their new headquarters nee
needed to embody the same spirit and soul embedded in
its creative process. Such a space was found the historic Av
Avalon Ballroom.

The 25,000sf building was carefully restored to its original
splendor while offering work and social spaces that reflect
Argonaut's brand and creative work style. In the main
ballroom, a custom-designed desking system extends
from a raised platform stage resembling catwalks.
Argonaut practices "free addressing" - encouraging
unrestricted choice of work settings where staff can be
most creative. Interspersed around the space are flexible
and casual idea-generating spaces. An original mezzanine
overlooks the ballroom's activity and houses the
boardroom and meeting rooms. The ground level
workspace is devoted to the production teams, featuring
a custom-desking system, lounges, meeting areas, and a
an art gallery.
