Entry Description

It is a pop-up store design located in Hong Kong IFC mall and the client is Volcom.
Volcom was founded in 1991. The company primarily produces clothing, footwear, accessories, and related products for young men and women. As the brand sells extreme sportswear, the experience stimulus has become the most important design factor.

Surfing, Skateboarding, and Skiing have three common points, the first is slippery, the second is floating, and the third is it's randomness because no one will know the result while trying the fancy skateboarding, while rushed from the ice mountain and while rushed to the waves.
The design process was using origami to develop the basic forms, as origami is a randomness motion, and the folding method according to simple rules.

The art of slope with monochrome surface illustrate the user attitude: "Color is not from the environment but from what you are."
