The visual identity of Risca Faca, a digital platform of cultural content, is composed by a fragmented signature, splitting the word without following its syllabic division, allowing it to be read in a way that transcends its original meaning, avoiding literal interpretations — be it ‘Risca’ (‘streak’) or ‘Faca’ (‘knife’), or the many meanings of the expression ‘Risca-Faca’ (E.g. Dance, bar fights etc.) — allowing the identity to achieve its main purpose: to build an iconicity of its own.
Simple and yet complex in its versatility, the identity is capable of adjusting itself to the website’s graphic plurality and its wide range of imagetic content.
