Located in Pinchat, Geneva, the project sits between historic Carouge, a new zone, and villas. The elevated green site acts as a “lung.” The ellipsoidal building preserves vegetation; its curves echo nearby groves. A semi-green roof forms a garden fostering biodiversity.
On two levels, the discreet volume recalls a beetle’s shell, housing eight cross-ventilated flats. Bedrooms face the courtyard; living areas open to deep balconies.
Clad in dark timber, it merges with the undergrowth. Certified Very High Energy Performance, it unites efficiency, renewables, and nature-inspired details.
