Entry Description

Portlantis is a new experience centre on the Tweede Maasvlakte that brings the Port of Rotterdam to life. Designed by Kossmanndejong, the building and exhibitions form one immersive whole. Panoramic views make the real port part of the story, while interactive installations and layered storytelling invite visitors to explore freely. Films, sound, and sculptural design elements translate complex systems into something tangible and poetic. Portlantis shows how the port works today and how it’s shaping a more sustainable future.
