Econik 1851 is an active high-end loudspeaker that combines acoustic precision with a unique yet unobtrusive appearance. Its enclosure is 3D-printed from quartz sand; the rough mineral texture and monolithic shape give it a high-quality look and feel and reduce micro-vibrations. An almost spherical interior volume reduces standing waves. The steel cable suspension makes the body appear light and decouples it almost completely. As an active system, the amplifier and signal routing are integrated; a power cable is all that is needed.
