Yakamoz is a Turkish word with no true equivalent in other languages. It describes "the reflection of the moon on water" and served as the inspiration behind Prima Materia x KaleSeramik’s tribute to Istanbul: an architectural installation designed and curated for the 2025 launch of the brand’s new line of premium, large-scale ceramic slabs.
Our studio created two sculptural installations that engage in a dialogue with the cityscape and the Bosphorus, and designed bespoke furniture pieces for the evening, including cocktail tables, seating areas, and a custom bar.
