Entry Description

Birdism is a spatial philosophy that repositions birdwatching from a passive act of recreation into a dynamic practice of experiential observation and self-understanding, where environmental awareness and personal insight unfold simultaneously. This thesis explores how architecture can amplify its cognitive and spiritual potential by integrating humanistic psychology and Attention Restoration Theory into a meditative, sensorial design language, reconceptualizing the museum as an immersive environment for restoration, ecological engagement, and contemplative presence.
