"Cash: Wear the Black" is a book system exploring Johnny Cash’s life and impact through typography. Anchored by songs like "Folsom Prison Blues", "Ring of Fire", and "Man in Black", it blends lyrics and biography with bold typography and gritty textures drawn from denim, dust, and scorched paper. A black and white palette, layouts, and custom binding reflect his solemn persona of discipline and rebellion. The system includes a 20+ page, hand-bound book, and bookmarks, all centered on themes of protest, music, and resilience.
