Starlite

Originally designed by B+W in 2007, Starlite was a design/build project hand-built by the firm’s principals. A steakhouse lounge that harkened back to the rat pack days of the 1950s, that drew inspiration from many influences including John Lautner, stalactites at Carlsbad Caverns, Star Wars, 1970s Italian Futurism, Hitchcock’s North by Northwest, and more. 16 years later, B+W took their original ideas to another level of grandeur for the redesign of this iconic bar.

Established in 2000, Bells + Whistles is an award-winning, Los Angeles-based design studio that is dedicated to creating quality, hand-made, modern interiors. Working primarily with commercial spaces, our projects have included bars, restaurants, boutiques, entertainment venues and salons. Bells + Whistles is capable of taking on projects of any scale from concept to completion. Our goal is to create amazing interiors that showcase our talents and vision while successfully realizing our clients’ dreams.
