Entry Description

Aeropods are climate-responsive soil aeration capsules that activate when soil reaches critical compaction and moisture. Using pressure-sensitive technology, they release bursts of energy that fracture compacted soil, restoring oxygen circulation, root growth and drainage. Fully biodegradable and time-staggered, they can be planted once to act through the season. Unlike machinery that disrupts microbial life, Aeropods work quietly in the background. As they degrade, they release microbial nutrients that sustain fertility and resilience—an alternative to heavy fertilisers and intensive tillage.
