Entry Description

For the first SLS in Europe, we wanted to create a design narrative that tied the hotel to its surroundings but avoided the city’s most well-known motifs. The hotel is located on the Mediterranean, where the Besós River terminates, and we were therefore inspired by the moon’s influence on the tide, the cycles and daily rhythms of life, and our emotions. Each of the spaces we designed were translated through the lens of a particular moon phase.
