Entry Description

Gatherhouse Bakery is located in the Xigang Garden Industrial Heritage District of Qinhuangdao, rejuvenated from a historic red-brick building. The core of the space is shaped by an architectural installation of wood and luminous membranes.

Natural light pours in through skylights, casting dynamic shadows, while aged brick walls engage in dialogue with contemporary furnishings. Set within the harbor’s historic context, the space becomes an immersive sanctuary where artisanal baking, artistic light, and sensory poetry converge.
