This eco-friendly packaging was designed for Macau brand Avanco, using leftover rosemary trimmings from its organic farm in Bijie, Guizhou, where local workers from low-income families are employed as part of a poverty alleviation initiative. Replacing traditional foam, the material carries a natural rosemary scent—noticeable as soon as the box is opened. After removing the rosemary essential oil bottle, the block serves as a diffuser. It uses a seaweed-based extract as a natural binder, making it fully biodegradable and reusable.
