Entry Description

The 30-year-old building was renovated and reborn as ICON PLACE SHIBAKOEN.
Inspired by its scenic, nature-rich location and a desire to connect people and community, the concept "Hive" was chosen to evoke gathering and energy. Hexagonal motifs appear throughout—from finishes to signage and art-creating a unified visual language. A dynamic, locally sourced wooden approach wraps the lobby and extends into the public space, blending harmoniously with the surrounding streets of Tokyo.
