Three silver brooches with gold plating are designed to narrate the beautiful and romantic story of Rudabeh and Zal in the Shahnameh of Ferdowsi. The first brooch symbolizes the reunion of Rudabeh and Zal, with the red marquise representing Zal's kiss on Rudabeh's hair.The second brooch depicts the Simurgh's feather burnt by Zal to save Rudabeh with the Simurgh's help.The third brooch symbolizes Rostam's birth. The colors red, green, and blue represent people who will ultimately create white light, with the white round stone symbolizing Rostam, the greatest warrior and legend of the Shahnameh.
