Emerging from the pandemic, this office interior bridges previous “work from home” experiences with the functionality and connectivity of a modern workplace. Rejecting trends of impersonal workstations, we prioritized comfortable spaces that feel “residential” with layers of transparency and privacy. Celebrating the building’s unique historic concrete vault construction with integrated acoustic fabric ceilings and wood wall systems, we prioritized flexibility, collaboration, and material beauty. The design strikes a balance between historic character and contemporary performance.
