In 1985, the Shenzhen Sports Center was completed. The renovation was initiated in 2020 and completed this year, making it one of the largest sports complexes in China. The project retained 72 structural columns and connecting beams, upgrading from the original 32,000 seats to a professional football field with 45,000 seats. This renovation reinterprets the space with a unique color language. Black combined with sound, light and electricity symbolizes technology, intelligence and innovation. Red symbolizes the most primitive passion that sports events bring to people.
