Blurring Boundaries is a parametric automotive seat developed at Central Saint Martins UAL, awarded the CSM Officer Grant and recognised by Audi Design Leadership. Designed to mitigate motion sickness in EVs and autonomous vehicles, especially in developing countries like India where rough terrain and poor roads slow adoption. This integrates EAP micro-actuators, zero-gravity recline, and a lightweight lattice structure. The system adapts to road conditions and user biometrics in real time enhancing comfort, sustainability, and enables smooth transition in emerging markets of future mobility.
