Killing the Bride is a conceptual bridalwear collection that investigates the emotional burden and cultural expectations placed on women within East Asian communities. Inspired by a real-life event, the collection employs exaggerated silhouettes and layered structures to transform the wedding gown into a metaphor for silent struggle. Miao bridal aesthetics are reimagined through 3D-printed digital craft. By juxtaposing cultural heritage with modern fabrication, and romance with rebellion, the collection challenges romantic ideals and critiques the ritualized constraints of marriage.
