There’s a psychological phenomenon that when people perceive something, they recall a piece of memory that is related to what their perception right now. I always have this feeling when I am browsing my photo album in my phone. In this project, I try to use color to visualize my mood behind the photos that were taken when I first arrived in the US as an undergraduate student using the "posterization" RISO printing technique. In this way, I explore a possibility to express one’s feeling through abstract and objective means, and he way I struggled to redefine myself in a foreign environment.
