Entry Description

Sllow is an app for a smart placemat that detects elevated eating rates and provides real-time feedback to encourage healthier eating habits. Using a weight-sensing placemat that communicates with the app, sllow monitors eating pace and alerts users if they are eating too quickly or slowly relative to their goals. The mobile app offers immediate insights, enabling users to adjust their eating speed as needed. Initial findings suggest that Sllow can effectively prompt behavior changes, with further studies planned to assess its long-term impact on eating habits and overall health.
