Located on the South Island of Dishui Lake, the project took the concept of “Fruit of South Island”, considering the overall plan. The design started from the fifth facade: taking an abstract form of “full fruit” to echo mutually “the flower and leaf” on the South Island ——the Crowne Plaza Hotel and the Yacht Club.
The design highlighted the horizontal extension of eaves, showing the light and elegant image of waterside buildings. A spatial structure system was applied, with beam-column gradually extending from facade to indoor, making the structure one of the crucial elements of elevation.
