IDA 2025 IS NOW CLOSED FOR SUBMISSIONS.
“303” is an Italian restaurant in Shirahama with a picturesque view of Engetsu Island, a symbol of Wakayama Prefecture. When we first visited the seaside site, we were inspired by the ever-changing expression of the sea in the sunlight. Highlighted by blue gradient sheets that evoke the atmosphere of the ocean, partitions are visible from the facade, separating the dining area while subtly dividing it from the private rooms in the back. These elements contribute to incorporating the abstract essence of Shirarahama into the design concept.
