1 in 345 children are born with cerebral palsy. That is a huge number of children that not only need lower-limb orthotics, but special shoes as well. In the current orthotics-friendly footwear market, there is a massive disconnect in communication which leads to a final product that completely neglects the needs of the user.
Dino Stride is functional, stylish, and fun, making orthotics more engaging for children. Designing for children as an adult is not easy, but through empathic design, we can create footwear that improves rehabilitation while enhancing the lives of children with orthotics.
Eric is a footwear designer combining a love of fashion with a passion for design and innovation. Skilled in problem-solving and storytelling, Eric's multidisciplinary approach is what drives him to pursue many avenues of design.
