The catalog accompanied the exhibition Amalgamation, a group show exploring points of intersection and influence in the work of art faculty and the synergetic partnership between the university, the museum, and the local community. The typographic strategy evolved from a series of letterpress monoprints evoking both the museum’s concrete and shell aggregate forms and the energy of the waves sculpting its downtown site on Corpus Christi Bay.
