I wanted to create a handbag with a unique shape that still had a practical design. A bra's shape works well because the straps translate nicely into handles. I was inspired by 1950s-era bullet bras, which exaggerated the breasts instead of hiding them. While these bras came from a time when women didn't have as many rights, I wanted to pull the design into the modern world so we women could reclaim that image of our bodies and display it proudly.
