This special ensemble showcases one-of-a-kind cyanotypes on canvas from the solo exhibition "Quarter Turn" by artist Emma Beatrez at Fierman Gallery, NYC, 2021. Emma's exploration of her sister's bodybuilding journey speaks to themes of death, performance, and viewership of the female form. The exhibited pieces were sent to YUECEN to further the narration into garments: a second skin. Through meticulous pattern cutting, the look is carefully planned to coordinate the collaged female body in print (death) with the wearer's living body, intensifying objectification, modification, and ownership.
