Entry Description

I designed blessing posters themed around Chinese New Year. 2024 is the Year of the Loong(Chinese Dragon), symbolizing protection as it hovers over a lotus, signifying nobility and triumph over darkness in Buddhist culture. The background features "Jia Chen," representing 2024 in the Chinese calendar. I also explored varied image processing methods to offer a diverse color scheme.

Bio

Yu Chien Hung is an educator and part-time artist who was borned in Taiwan.Yu-Chien has won IDA and other international awards. Most of Hung's works were surrounded by traditional culture, mental healing, and mysterious creatures.
