Punta Mayia, located in Zicatela, Oaxaca, is a small apartment complex a short walk from the beach, designed to cater to the vacation needs with accessible tourist rentals. The design features a central common area to enhance community and interaction, countering the local trend of minimal private-public space interaction. It includes three rectangular buildings surrounding a pool and patio, drawing on indigenous architectural concepts and Mediterranean influences to create a vibrant, beachside atmosphere. The successful amalgamation of these elements offers an unparalleled experience.
