IDA 2024 NOW OPEN -- Early Bird Deadline May 30, 2024
This project locates in Kochi where is southern side of Shikoku, Japan. Concept is HOME + Y ! to create office just like home for employees to provide comfort and stimulation. We were inspired by traditional Japanese house and idea of “MA” in Japanese means space between two things that connects inside and outside, people to people, community, nature, and work. Floor plan composes various “MA” spaces to change mood in office. We used wood, recycled board and wood cement board as sustainable design, and incorporated warm colors with vivid artwork as accent extracted from nature in Kochi.
