IDA 2026 IS NOW OPEN - FINAL DEADLINE: OCTOBER 15
A house on one level harmoniously integrated into the surrounding mixed forest.
The task was to create a sustainable space and hide all additional equipment and storage space as much as possible from the eyes of residents, emphasizing the view outside the window and the art objects inside.
The modern and refined shapes of Italian furniture are enhanced by the upcycled items and the reinterpretation of everyday things, such as a branch lamp and a panel made with old wooden tiles. The painting made with charcoal and called "Rebirth" represents the continuity of life.
Koshulynskyy & Mayer is an architecture and interior design studio founded by architect Danylo Koshulynskyy and interior designer Karina Mayer. Based in Lviv, Ukraine, the studio works on private residences, cultural projects and selected commercial environments in Ukraine and internationally.
The studio integrates architecture, interior design, engineering and implementation control into one coherent system. Each project is developed through context, proportion, light, natural materials and the long-term value of the property.
