A porous “hillside”, as the extension of the urban area, with openings on different height, is created to offer an urban space for public relaxation and viewing the beautiful wetland landscape. As a context information carrier, this “hillside” shapes the non-equilibrious internal space beneath it, creating a self-organized architectural system. The high level of public accessibility and openness allow this art center to possess greater public value beyond art exhibitions. While the public event, apart from art exhibitions, in turn enhance the dissemination of art to the general public.
