IDA 2024 NOW OPEN -- Regular Deadline October 31, 2024
The Wagner coat rack is a simple, metal coat rack with wood turned elements. The coat rack offers a space specifically designed to fit a pair of shoes for display, a 360 degree swiveling arm, and other places available for the hanging and displaying of scarves, jackets, hats, etc.
I knew I wanted functionality and simplicity to be my main focus in designing this coat rack. I wanted to have fun, learn how to weld, and complete this project on time. My design came from my geometric doodles in my notebook I made during Wagner's class lectures.
