The project is located in a historical ancient city in Wuhan, China. The layout of the ancient city has long been changed beyond recognition, but fragments of history are still left on the site, such as a 540-year-old tree and a 100-year-old Catholic church. Our design goal is to create an open urban space by cleaning up the surrounding temporary low-quality buildings. This will not only promote the protection of cultural relics, but also allow more people to pay attention to the culture and development history of the community.
