Tranquil Courtyard, Essence of Simplicity | SOOTHIN Showroom

The basic unit of traditional Chinese residential architecture is the square courtyard, The courtyard, enclosed by buildings and walls, represents the fusion of architecture and family in Chinese culture. In this project, the designer aims to break free from the constraints of traditional exhibition halls and rediscover the primary imagination of home from childhood memories. This design project centers around a courtyard, starting from the intentionally lowered height front yard at the entrance, and embarks on an extraordinary home journey.
