Entry Description

Sadecka is located in Czchow, Poland and serves as a refuge for Ukrainians refugees. This 60,000 sq. ft. facility on the Dunajec River features medical services, community spaces, and temporary housing for over 130 refugees. It follows the AIA Framework for Design Excellence, striving to be net-zero with photovoltaic panels, green roofs, and rainwater systems, minimizing its environmental impact. The first floor's multi-use spaces are shared with the local community, adaptable to changing needs. Sadecka seamlessly blends into the surroundings, offering a peaceful haven for those in need.
