As the main venue of the Fourteenth National Games, Xi’an Olympic Sports Center is situated on the bank of Ba River. It included three primary structures that took up a total of 57.5 hectares: a stadium, a natatorium, and a gymnasium. It is a sports facility that meets international standards, a city park that is ecological, open and pluralistic, and a new calling card that Xi’an presents to the whole world. The flowing spatial sequence organizes a series of spatial nodes and functional sites, forming a dynamic "ribbon" that acts as a landscape moving line within the site.
