Typography and music share many commonalities, such as pacing, rhythm, contrast, and tension. This project is to experiment with combining Ambient Music with the visual look of the Bauhaus movement into a single album packaging. I noticed that they have a significant commonality in their emphasis on minimalism and the use of technology in creative expression. Thus, in this case, I chose to recreate the visual of 'Takk...,' an album by the Icelandic post-rock band Sigur Rós, and utilized the geometrical and minimalistic style of the Bauhaus movement throughout the whole design system.
