Entry Description

Not only are mussels immune to microplastic poisoning, but they may have a way of filtering microplastics from seawater, the study found. To this end, our team designed a mussel farming purifier, which uses the ability of mussels to filter microplastics and nanofiltration technology to collect mussel feces to purify seawater. The product effectively traps and isolates microplastic particles in water. At the same time, it can detect the concentration of microplastics in the water and the amount of mussel feces collected, which is convenient for fishermen to recycle the collected microplastics.
