Rather than designing one uniform aesthetic for the interiors of Landsby’s four-building multifamily campus, a nuanced and unusual design approach crafted somewhat of a miniature neighborhood. Each building offers a distinct and uniquely desirable living environment, linked together by open landscaped courtyards and pathways, reflecting the suburban nature of the outside world. One of the driving forces of the design was to supply the young creative professionals working for tech giants in the Bay Area a comfortable housing solution that fosters connection to others as well as the outdoors.
